WORSHIP PREPARATIONS

Sanitization of the Facilities

While we always seek to maintain high standards of cleanliness, extra measures have been taken to clean our common areas.

ADJUSTMENTS MADE FOR YOUR SAFETY

Our goal is to make service attendance as “touchless” as possible.

  • Auditorium doors will be propped open.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available at all entrances and throughout the building.

  • All trash cans are now touchless with open tops.

  • Water fountains have been turned off.

  • The church kitchen has been closed down for the time being.

  • All door handles, surfaces in bathrooms, common areas, and high touch areas will be cleaned before, in between, and after services. We have purchased several new sanitation foggers to make this as robust as possible.

  • We are increasing ventilation as much as possible in the buildings. We use the highest quality air filters that are inspected regularly and replaced every six weeks.

WORSHIP GUIDELINES

Social Distancing & Safety

BEFORE YOU ATTEND
  • Please stay home if you or anyone in your family is showing signs of sickness.

  • If you have come into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home until you have personally tested negative for COVID-19 or self-quarantined for 14 days.

  • We ask that you check your temperature before coming to church. Do not attend if it is over 98.6.

  • Although there are hand sanitizer stations available for your use throughout the building, we recommend that you carry personal hand sanitizer as well for regular use when gathering.

  • Attempt to arrive 10-15 minutes early so that you can be seated properly before the service begins.

ENTERING THE BUILDING
  • We recommend that teens and adults wear a mask while entering and exiting the building as those times are most difficult to maintain social distancing.

  • Please observe signage throughout the building.

  • Hot coffee will not be available at this time.

  • Announcements will be given in each service and emailed to you; there will not be a bulletin that is handed out.

INSIDE THE AUDITORIUM
  • Masks are recommended but not mandatory.

  • Family units will sit together and be separated by other family units by 6 feet.

  • Seats closest to the platform have been removed.

  • Offering plates will not be passed. We ask you to continue giving online, or you may use the new black offering box located in front of the Welcome Desk.

  • There will be no greeting/handshaking time.

  • Temporarily, we ask you to refrain from physical contact with those outside of your family.

DISMISSAL
  • We recommend that teens and adults wear a mask while entering and exiting the building as those times are most difficult to maintain social distancing.

  • During dismissal, please maintain social distancing and avoid congregating near doors and aisles. Please be careful as you exit.
